Frequently Asked Questions
Q : What is the best way to find the item I am looking for on your site?
A : The search box is located above the the STRATosphere logo at the top of the page. In the search box enter key words, ie: Maple American Strat. After you have entered your initial search you can do a more advanced search by clicking on "Show Search Form", it is located under the shopping cart. In the form you can select a category, such as necks. You can also search by price range. If you have any questions please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to help!
Q : How do I enter my coupon code?
A : Enter your coupon code at checkout. Your coupon code must be entered on or before the expiration date advertised. Your coupon code is case sensitive.
Q : Can I mix and match parts from different models?
A : The specs vary on different makes and models and we do not recommend trying this unless you have researched the items and have determined that they will fit together properly.
Q : What carrier and method do you use to ship outside of the United States?
A : We ship via USPS for all airmail packages (these are usually small, lightweight packages that contain items with a value under $100.00). For expedited shipments we typically use USPS Priority Express for packages going to South America, Canada, Mexico, Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Poland and Czech Republic. Expedited shipments going to most other European countries, Australia and Asia are sent by UPS Expedited. If you have a preference for expedited shipping, please be sure to specify the carrier you would like us to use in the notes field on your order. We will do our best to honor your request.
Q : Can I put a Tele neck on a Strat body and vice versa?
A : This can be done, but we do not always recommend it.
Q : Will any Fender neck fit on any Fender body as long as they are the same type (ie: Strat with Strat, Tele with Tele etc…)?
A : We can't say for sure. Many people mix and match different models, but it may require additional setup. We personally wouldn't recommend it. For the most part, it is safer to match American w/ American, Mexican w/ Mexican, Japanese w/ Japanese etc... However, this does not guarantee that there will not be any issues pairing different models that were manufactured in the same country. Before attempting, we strongly suggest consulting with a Luthier.
